Walton’s annual July 4th Festival is back with the parade, car show, food, and fireworks. For parade signup, email woolevercarol7@gmail.com or call 765-432-0945. Participants will line up at 1:00 p.m. in the Lewis Cass parking lot; parade begins at 2:00 p.m. Lewis Cass Band Boosters are hosting a fish fry 4:00-7:00 at the Walton Christian Church and will sell elephant ears from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and again during the fireworks show. The Fire Dept. car show runs 4:00-8:00 p.m. Fireworks will be shot off at dusk northwest of town near 650 S., just east of 600 E. Rain date is July 5.
