As St. Patrick Church nears its 160th birthday, the community is invited to the Church’s annual Oktoberfest event on Friday, October 12 from 4:30-8:00 pm. Rozzis Catering will serve a German buffet dinner throughout the evening; cost for the buffet is $12 for adults and $7 for children aged 4-11. New this year will be a petting zoo, bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, and lazer tag. New activities for adults include bingo and a corn hole tournament. As in the past, there will be a car show, homemade pretzels, baked goods, religious articles, crafts, and used books for sale. Ice cream, homemade apple crisp, and pumpkin bars will be available as well as apple cider, hot chocolate, and coffee. The Step-Up for Girls (a program of Kokomo Urban Outreach) will be selling their creations as well. Other children’s activities include ring toss, face painting, and a dunk tank. While there is no admission fee for the Oktoberfest, there will be minimal charges to participate with the games and activities. St. Patrick Church is located at 1229 N. Washington St., near the corner of Washington and North Streets.
