Rainbow of Life Ministries is a new ministry here in Kokomo. Our mission is to connect families who have experienced miscarriage, infant loss, infertility, and adoption loss to resources of healing. We also are continually seeking voids in this community of loss and ways that we can fill those voids.
This Saturday, May 4th, from 1-3pm we will be hosting Mending for Mommas at the Refinery. We acknowledge that Mother’s day can be a difficult time for some. Women dealing with infertility may be aching with heavy, empty arms. And for women who have experienced loss, that empty place in her home and heart is multiplied this day. At the event we will be connecting these women to resources that they can plug into. We will also be collecting the following items for Bentley’s Bags of Hope: teddy bears, journals, gel eye masks, and lavender bath bombs. We believe that much healing occurs when you are able to help someone go through something that you’ve gone through. We have also continued Hudson’s Bands of Hope bracelet ministry and will also have those available for women to make at our event.
