The Adult Education Program at Kokomo Area Career Center offers classes for English language learners and for people wanting to get their High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma, formerly GED. You can start with basic classes in reading and math then move on to classes that prepare you with official practice tests for the TASC exam to earn your high school equivalency (HSE). Earning your HSE offers you a stepping stone to a better job and a college education. Statistics show that a person with a high school diploma earns, on average, $9620 more than a non-graduate.
