We gotta talk about it. Crocs. The weird yet fascinating pair of shoes that everyone has become obsessed with. Everyone has their opinions on them. Some love them, other’s absolutely despise them!
When they first came out, I had some very strong opinions on the matter. Mostly that they were the ugliest pair of shoes that I’ve ever seen.
Then I tried them on…
Ugly they may be, but omg, these shoes are from the Gods. I felt like I was walking on clouds. It finally made sense why so many working professionals who are on their feet all day were wearing them! I let the crocs matter go.
Then I saw this picture today. That’s EXACTLY what you think it is. A pair of Steel Toed Crocs. A man in Japan made them. He is a construction worker and wanted to be comfortable on the job. While I get the idea behind it, I can’t imagine this ACTUALLY will protect him if something fell on his foot!
I didn’t think it was possible to make crocs uglier. But this man just accomplished it. NOOOOOOOO!
