Paramount+ is gearing up to expand the ‘Yellowstone’ universe with its latest spinoff, Dutton Ranch, a drama centered on fan favorites Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). Alongside Reilly and Hauser, Finn Little reprises his role as Carter, while the ensemble cast also includes Ed Harris, Annette Bening, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind.

Dutton Ranch marks the second Yellowstone spinoff to debut this year, following Marshals, which features Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton. Together, these series continue to broaden the reach of the franchise, bringing new settings, conflicts, and characters into the fold.

Picking up after the events of Yellowstone, the story follows Beth and Rip as they attempt to carve out a fresh start. While the original series ended with the couple settling into a ranch in Dillon, Montana, their new journey takes them to South Texas—where peace proves elusive. Despite their hopes of leaving past violence behind, they are quickly pulled into dangerous conflicts tied to a powerful rival ranch.

The official synopsis states, “As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together — far from the ghosts of Yellowstone — they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”

Early footage from the show highlights a darker tone, featuring intense confrontations and stark imagery, including scenes of violence that suggest the couple’s struggles are far from over. In one moment from the teaser, Beth reflects on what’s at stake, saying, “A legacy is a beautiful thing, but only if it survives.”

The series will launch with its first two episodes on May 15, streaming on Paramount+ and airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network, before continuing weekly throughout its nine-episode debut season.
