There’s something for everyone! The Recreation Adventure Program can be found in a park near you!
The program is going on now through July 21, Monday through Friday with the operation time of Noon to 5 p.m. This year the locations for the program will be at the main playgrounds in both Highland Park and Mohr Park.
Board games, card gams, hula-hoops, whiffle ball, box hockey, basketballs, dodge balls, volleyball, and tennis rackets and balls and much more. There are also dozens of crafts from 25 cents to $1 each. Supervisors are present to offer leadership and organized play but not to babysit, so remember that children are free to come and go. If you are looking for something to do this summer, get up off the couch, put down the video game and come out to the park and play with us!
