With 4-6 inches of rainfall projected for our area expected through Wednesday night, sand & sandbags will be available for Howard County residents.
You can pickup sandbags from the Howard County Emergency Management building located at 627 S. Berkley. Please call ahead to make arrangements to pickup the bags. Before 3 PM call 765-456-2242 after 4PM please call 765-431-7914.
Once, you pick up your bags, sand is available to you to fill your bags at the following locations:
– Howard County Highway 625 S Berkley Rd.
– Kokomo Street Department 720 E Boulevard
***REMEMBER, you need to bring your own shovel to fill your bags. We do not supply shovels or filled sandbags.
