KOKOMO RESCUE MISSION IS HOLDING ITS BACK TO SCHOOL SHOE GIVEAWAY JULY 20-23 AT GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
The Kokomo Rescue Mission has partnered with Crossroads Community Church, other local churches and donors for the annual Back to School Shoe Giveaway. During the week of July 20-23, children will be able to receive NEW shoes, socks and underwear! The hours to receive this assistance will be Monday and Wednesday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm from the Grace United Methodist Church, 219 W. Mulberry St., Kokomo. This income-qualified program is for students who are age 5 to 18 going into grades K thru 12. To qualify for assistance, please bring: Photo ID of Parent/Legal Guardian, Proof of Income, Student’s Birth Certificate, Student’s Birth Date, and Student’s Social Security Card. Students must be present to receive assistance. Student’s may also qualify to receive a clothing voucher for gently used clothing at the Care & Share Store.
