Ya’ll I had to share the news with you! I don’t know why I turn into a country gal every time I get on here, but it comes with the territory. It has been a HUGE week for Taylor Swift. Before her LOVER CD even came out she had already presold 1 million copies! How insane is that. Well it turns out that she is breaking even more records now… this time- her own! AND knocking out “A Star Is Born”s previous chart record in the process!

Taylor Swift’s “Lover” album is now the U.S. top-selling album of 2019. Swift’s new album has dethroned “A Star Is Born” soundtrack selling over 500,000 by its second release day.
“A Star Is Born” has sold 440,000 copies since its release through August 22nd.
Swift’s previous album, “Reputation” sold 1.216 million copies in its first week back in November 2017, the projection for “Lover” is that it will outsell “Reputation” by the end of the week.

I can tell you right now, I will be one of those people helping her to reach her goal by purchasing the CD soon! Go Taylor!
