Do you ever have those nights when all you want to do is sit at home and eat an entire frozen pizza and watch some awesome documentary?! Yeah, me too. But here’s the thing, I would 100% hate myself afterwards if I did that. I would wish that I got up and did something with my night and used my time well. Life is short. And I think we often times forget that we are only given a limited amount of time in our lives. I want to try to and be more aware of that and use my time more wisely.
Last night I had a doctors appointment right after work. After it was over, I was super tempted to just sit and chill at home. My coworker called me up and asked if I wanted to go walking at the gym. I was tempted to decline, however, I said yes. I practiced the art of saying yes, without giving myself an option to say no.
And I was insanely happy I did. Not only did I get some exercise in, but I also got some good friend time in as well. I need to be better about saying yes. I am my only barrier in life! I need to stop getting in my own way!
