Back when I was younger, I would walk to school up hill both ways in the snow. No I didn’t, that’s just a cliche old person thing to say. Point is, when I was younger, things were different. Life felt easier, and I had more energy. Black Friday was an exciting time! I would wake up early, energized (what does that feel like?) and hit all the stores for the best deals. Sometimes I would find some great stuff, other times not so much.
I was never one of those crazy people that waited in line overnight at Best Buy. Listen, I love TV as much as the next person, but not at the risk of catching hypothermia!
Over the years, I started to wake up later and later, and with that realize that I probably missed out on most of the deals going on that day.
BUT THEN I learned about Cyber Monday.
The same great deals… BUT I COULD FIND THEM ON A COMPUTER IN MY HOUSE IN MY PAJAMAS AND NOT FACE THE CROWDS.
SIGN ME UP!!!
I think in my ripe old age of 30 I’ve decided to be done with Black Fridays. Which do you prefer?! Is one really better than another?!
