So as many of you know, Stan Lee, the co-creator of Marvel passed away yesterday at the age of 95. I figured that to honor Stan Lee, today would be a great day to look back on his long career in Comics and remember his unbelievable cameos over the years. Did you know that to date, Stan Lee is the highest grossing movie actor of all time? I mean it’s not even close. Stan Lee dominates the competition in this category bringing in a billion dollars more than the second place actor (Samuel L. Jackson), and leaving a legacy of incredible Marvel films behind. This will be a record that will likely stand for a long time.
Though his acting performances were minor in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), his role in their creation was more important than any other. Stan Lee while working with Marvel helped to create over 350 characters including: Spiderman, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, The Avengers and more!
