United Way’s Free Tax Prep Looking for Volunteers

United Way serving Howard and Tipton County’s Free Tax preparation program is recruiting volunteers to help working families and individuals file their taxes at the Howard, Tipton, Cass and Miami County Locations. Free Tax Prep helps families and individuals who make an average household income of $60,000 or less, filre their federal and state returns free.

Volunteers are needed at the following locations to conduct interviews for drop off clients:

• United Way of Howard County, 210 W Walnut Street, Kokomo
• Area Five Agency on Aging, 1801 Smith Street, Logansport
• Area Five Agency on Aging, 661 E Main Street, Peru
• Tipton Library, 127 E Madison, Tipton
