SUMMARY:Asylum Peru Painters (APP) Exhibit at Kokomo Art Center
DESCRIPTION:Kokomo Art Center welcomes an exhibit of plein air artwork by the Asylum Peru Painters (APP) during October and November.  \nThis group of talented and prolific artists –\nJ.O. Buffington\, Terry Pulley\, Phil Spear\, Tim Swagerle\, John Tritt\, and Avon Waters – meets regularly to explore and paint their surroundings en plein air.   \nThe exhibit opens Wednesday\, October 12th and runs through November\, and includes a fabulous array of acrylics\, pastels\, pen and ink\, oil and watercolor paintings.  Come see what these plein air artists have been out and about creating! \nHours are Wednesday through Saturday\, 1-4 pm.    \nMeet the artists at an informal reception on Friday\, November 4th from 5-7 pm.   This will be a fabulous opportunity to chat with the artists and learn more about their art. \nKokomo Art Center is located at 525 West Ricketts Street\, Kokomo (at Highland Park).
