DESCRIPTION:Kokomo Art Association presents “The Artistry of Wood”\, featuring the Eastern Woodland Carvers \nView realistic\, stylized and chip carvings on display. Intarsia\, wood turnings and artistic woodworking will also be represented. \nLive demonstrations will be held on Saturday\, August 12 from 1 – 4 at the Kokomo Art Center. Demos will include pyrography\, chip carving\, wood carving and more. Stop in to learn more about this fascinating art form! \nReception will be held on Saturday\, August 26 from 2 – 4 pm. Visit and chat with the artists. \nThe Eastern Woodland Carvers Club meets in Converse on Tuesdays from 5 – 8 pm. Beginning and advanced classes are available.
