KOKOMO RESCUE MISSION – NEW GROCERY SACK ASSISTANCE SCHEDULE
The Kokomo Rescue Mission will not be holding their Grocery Sack Assistance this week. The new distribution time to receive the grocery sacks will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, beginning on August 5, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm from their Warehouse located at 314 W. Mulberry Street. The drive-through line to receive the grocery sacks will begin in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Washington and Taylor Street. Walk-ups are welcome, forming a line at the Warehouse. Along with receiving a bag of groceries, the following items may be available upon request: diapers, feminine products, and adult incontinence items. A photo ID is all that is required, limited to one bag per household per week.
Since March, the Kokomo Rescue Mission has provided 2,147 bags of groceries to those experiencing many challenges throughout this COVID-19 pandemic.
