Kokomo Rescue Mission Grocery Sack Assistance
The Kokomo Rescue Mission is still offering Grocery Sack Assistance every Wednesday 10:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm from their Warehouse located at 314 W. Mulberry Street. The drive-through line to receive the grocery sacks begins in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Washington and Taylor Street. Walk-ups are welcome, forming a line at the Warehouse. Along with receiving a bag of groceries, the following items may be available upon request: diapers, formula, baby food, adult incontinence items and feminine products. A photo ID is all that is required, limited to one bag per household per week.
Since March, the Kokomo Rescue Mission has provided 1,589 bags of groceries to those experiencing many challenges throughout this COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to all who have supported the Mission during these uncertain times. Your kindness, generosity and prayers have allowed us to continue offering hope to those in our community.
