Getting the inspiration to head to the gym is tough, but it’s even tougher to motivate yourself to workout hard while you’re there. Unless you have a friend or trainer there along side you to push you further, it’s difficult to give yourself a boost.
According to a new study, you’ll get a better workout in if you chug four cups of coffee right before you hit the gym. The 400 milligrams of caffeine is just the boost that people need to be able to burn an extra 3% of fat during each visit. 3% may not sound like much, but it adds up!
Only problem we have with this study is… FOUR CUPS OF COFFEE! How do you not puke after slamming a quart of coffee? That is entirely too much to drink all at once, but if you feel like you could keep it down this may be for you! Caffeine of any kind is beneficial to help you with a workout though, so if there’s a different way to get 400 milligrams of caffeine in, do that!
