Kokomo Police Continue Search for Kokomo Lo Bob's Tobacco Robbery Suspect
On Wednesday February 10th, 2010 at approximately 4:36 PM, Officers of the Kokomo Police Department responded to Low Bob’s Tobacco located at 300 E. Markland Avenue in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. Upon their arrival, the clerk advised a man had entered the business, walked around the counter armed with a handgun, and demanded money. The man was described as a black male standing approximately 5’2” tall weighing around 120 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, silver colored sweatpants, and was holding a white mask over his face. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and was not injured during this incident. The suspect left the store on foot towards the north with an undetermined amount of cash.
