CLERK FILES FOR COUNCIL SEAT
Mona Myers has officially filed for County Council District #2. Myers is currently the Clerk of Howard County. Her term as Clerk ends December 31, 2010.
Myers has served as an Elected Official for seven years as Clerk, saying “I hope to bring my experience as a Public Servant to the office of County Council. We have too many “special interest” groups trying to take over local government. I want to represent the local taxpayers, not special interest groups. I will work to control spending, just as I have as Clerk over the past seven years.”
