ECONOMIC BUSINESS FAIR AT MAPLE CREST MIDDLE SCHOOL
Maple Crest Middle School will be hosting an Economic Fair on Friday, December 4th from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. in the new gym. Our 7th grade students have been participating in an Economic/Entrepreneur project. They were challenged to create a service or good for a business. This included but was not limited to creating a business plan, sales planning sheet, market analysis, marketing technique, 4 P’s of a business, and a profit analysis.
Our students will sell their service or good as the culminating activity. This will be the perfect time to purchase an inexpensive birthday, Christmas, or any other special occasion gift for yourself or family. Prices range from 50 cents to $4.00. Our students and 7th grade team have worked very hard to make this a successful learning opportunity.
You are invited to attend this 2nd annual special event. Our students have fascinating products to share with you. Please plan to make this event and bring lots of money! 50% of our student’s proceeds will be donated to the Dr. D. Douglas Hogan III Scholarship Fund. In addition, students may select a charity of their choice to donate 50% of the remaining profit from their sales.

If you would like your child to shop at our Economic Business Fair, please send money in an envelope. On a separate piece of paper, write down all the names of those you want your child to purchase gifts for in your family. Please include the amount you would like them to spend.
