Volunteer for United Way

Looking to give back to the community? Volunteering for a local nonprofit is a great way to help make our community better! United Way has opportunities for you to tutor and mentor children, and help make amazing events and programs possible.

Some programs include:

Real Men Read – Reading to young children to help get them excited for reading and build their in home library.

Kindergarten Countdown – Setting up stops all around Howard County to help get children ready for kindergarten.

Meet Up & Eat Up – Providing a place for kids to come together over the summer and do a fun activity and receive a free meal.

There are many other programs that you can volunteer for, and if you’re interested, United Way will help find the program that’s right for you.
